Bagging Distribution Rights for 30 crore Rajanikanth Becomes the Biggest Star on Telugu Screens

Once again Rajini has proved that he is the Superstar of Indian Cinema. Now he is bigger than any star on Telugu screens whether it’s Mahesh, Pawan or NTR.

Rajinikanth's latest film Kochadaiyaan which is also being made in Telugu along with Tamil and Hindi versions has set a record in its distribution rights. The makers have made a deal for a whopping 30 crore rupees with Lakshmi Ganapathi and that too only for Andhra Pradesh.

Yes that’s for a Record Price because it is the biggest individual deal for any Telugu movie till date. There were few Telugu biggies that made over 30 crores business when all the territories put together. So that does ascertain that biggest star in Andhra Pradesh now is not Mahesh Babu, Pawan Kalyan or Jr. NTR, it is Rajinikanth.

Kochadaiyaan  is the biggest outright deal that was ever done. Robo was lapped up for 27 crore rupees deal and Superstar bettered it by a mile with Kochadaiyaan. And that too without Shankar factor. What's amazing about Kochadaiyan is it is not even a regular commercial film. It is India's first performance capture photorealistic film. In other words it is an animation movie in which Rajinikanth is not seen on the screen.

Getting such a huge price for a film without his 'real' presence is something out of the world. Yes Indeed something that proves Rajini is that invisible force of Indian Cinema who creates Magic on Screen – the invisible force that is Bigger than all the Stars put together.
