Novel strategy is applied not only in scripts but also in the making and promoting strategy too in Tamil industry these days.
Coming up with fresh marketing strategies, the latest one is from the unit of “Naduvula Konjam Pakkatha Kaanom.” The unit has apparently got a website designed with jigsaw puzzles on it as part of its strategy to promote the film. Wit the site http://nkpkthemovie.com/ launched a couple of days ago, the makers are receiving the viewers with a jig – saw puzzle.
The pictures used for the puzzles are all stills from the movie, which has been directed by Balaji Tharaneetharan. There are three jigsaw puzzles in all and if a player manages to solve all three in the stipulated time, a message box appears asking for his name and mail id. Once winners send in their entries, the makers gift them T-shirts of our movie. “Already, 30 people have managed to solve the puzzles, and T-shirts have been despatched to 10 winners” says Sathish, co-producer of the movie.
